TDK spotlights innovations fueling automotive, ICT, IoT, AR/VR, renewable energy and power supplies

TDK Corporation will be participating in Electronica India 2023 to present over 60 technology demonstrations and interactive experiences that span its comprehensive component and system solution portfolio, catering to a wide range of electronics applications. The event will take place in Bengaluru from September 13 to 15, 2023. The TDK booth, situated in exhibition hall 5, booth number #ED11, will spotlight an array of solutions encompassing passive components, sensors, and power supplies for diverse applications such as mobility (including ADAS and xEV, even 2-wheelers), Beyond 5G (encompassing information and communication technology), IoT, AR/VR, industrial applications, and renewable energy.

Mobility ADAS / EV

  • ADAS & xEV Passive Components and Sensors: Presenting a comprehensive array of TDK solutions integrated into full-sized PCBs, organized within a streamlined automotive design framework.
  • High-voltage contactors: Designed to address the requirements of high-voltage and high-current DC applications, particularly for isolating high-voltage lithium-ion batteries, these contactors utilize gas-filled technology.

IoT

  • Passive components for IoT: Showcasing the complete range of TDK solutions specifically for IoT applications.
  • SmartSonic™: TDK’s ultrasonic Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors integrate a MEMS PMUT (Piezoelectric Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducer) with an ultra-low power SoC (System on Chip) in a miniature package for reflow soldering. These sensor solutions can range to targets of any composition up to 5 meters in any lighting condition, making them ideal for a variety of applications, including obstacle avoidance, presence detection, robotics, security & surveillance, AR/VR, drones, liquid level sensing, smart home/building, and general IoT.

Power Supplies

  • Innovative AC-DC and DC-DC converters for industrial, medical, test and measurement, communications, and renewable energy markets. Visitors will see the latest high-density 1.5-kW 1U-height, TDK’s GENESYS+TM family of programmable DC power supply systems, with products designed specifically for test systems
