Cisco Video Surveillance IP Cameras

Cisco Systems introduced two new IP security cameras this year as part of its IOT ecosystem. The Cisco Video Surveillance 7070 IP Camera and the  Cisco Video Surveillance 3050 IP Camera. The 7070 IP camera is capable of 1920 x 1920 resolution while the 3050 IP camera is capable of 1280 x 960 resolution. Both can optimize network utilization with either H.264 or Motion JPEG (MJPEG) compression. The 7070 IP camera is equipped with a 5-megapixel sensor, a notable 180 degrees panoramic views and 360 degrees surround view fisheye lens. The 3050 IP camera is a ruggedized, outdoor, high definition(HD) video endpoint.

Manufacturers, transportation firms, utilities, and cities are few of the organizations that are using IP camera with intelligent, integrated networks to gain efficiency and improve operations. The cameras are part of the Cisco IOT System, a comprehensive set of products and technologies for creating IOT solutions. And they can help you realize the opportunities of the Internet of Everything (IOE) – the next generation of the Internet that connects people, process, data and things.
