THDCIL India To Establish EV Charging Stations For Char Dham Yatra Route In Uttarakhand
In a commendable and eco-conscious endeavor, THDC India Ltd (THDCIL), a government-owned entity, has announced its ambitious plan to develop electric vehicle (EV) charging stations along the Char Dham Yatra route in Uttarakhand. This transformative project’s initial phase involves the establishment of EV charging stations at 14 strategic locations within the state, a collaboration achieved through an agreement with Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam Ltd (GMVN).
The partnership between THDCIL and GMVN is fueled by a shared commitment to promoting the adoption of electric vehicles on the Char Dham Yatra route, with the ultimate aim of curbing pollution and preserving the pristine environment of Uttarakhand.
Both organizations are resolute in ensuring that these charging stations become operational before the commencement of the Char Dham Yatra next year.
